If you do not have access to a computer please use the Recipe Submission Form and return them to the box in the Town Office.

The Centennial Quilt rules & regulations are now available by contacting Beverly (859-2176) or Marion (859-2704).

Nominations forms for Centennial Queen are available from Rachael at the Rossburn Hotel.  Rules and regulations are on the form.

Recipes for the Centennial Cookbook can be emailed (word format better) to rossburn100@gmail.com or dropped off at the town office.

We are still looking for contact information for former residents.  Please help!  Event details wil be released over the next few months as plans are confirmed.

Who would you nominate...

Rossburn 100th Queen

Do you know a young lady between the ages of 16 and 25 who stands out amongst the rest?  Does she excel in academics?   Does she volunteer her time to help out or entertain others?  Does she go above and beyond to better herself and her environment?

If you know this young lady and she resides within the town or the RM of Rossburn, you can nominate her to be Rossburn's 2012 Queen!

Rules and regulations will be posted in the New Year as this will be a yearlong contest and the Queen will be crowned at the New Year's Eve Gala that the Rossburn 2013 Committee will be hosting.

Nominations accepted between January 1st and March 1st, 2012.

A planning meeting was held at the end of August. 

An executive was elected as follows: 

• Chairperson - Sarah Cleland 
• Vice Chairperson - Beverly Kostecki 
• Secretary - Rachael Kostecki 
• Treasurer - Kerry Lawless 
• Member at Large - Shirley Kalyniuk   

It was well attended, and many great ideas were brought forward, but we are still open to your ideas. Please feel free to contact any of the above named individuals, the town office or email rossburn100@gmail.com.  We are also looking for contact information on Rossburn Residents who have moved away. We would welcome any information that could help us find teachers, preachers, RCMP officers, Hydro or Manco employees.  This is a daunting task we have undertaken but the reward will be great at the end.
