The Town of Rossburn, in conjunction with the Rossburn Chamber of Commerce, has jointly developed the following incentives for residential and commercial properties within the Town of Rossburn:
Any Town owned lot within the new subdivision can be purchased for $1.00, with any home or business construction starting within two years from the date of purchase.
Any other town owned lot may also be available for $1.00.Application will have to be submitted for Council consideration.
For the first two years, each new homeowner or business, moving into the Town of Rossburn will receive a quarterly credit of $50.00 towards the water bill charges.
Waiver of the quarterly garbage collection fee for two years.
Free family skating pass at the Rossburn Memorial Arena for two years.
Two free adult curling memberships at the Rossburn Agri-Rec Centre for one year.
For each residential property a grant equivalent to the property tax bill to a maximum of $500.00 per year for four consecutive years.
For each business start, a grant equivalent to the property tax bill to a maximum of $1,000.00 per year for four consecutive years.
