Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Manitob women. This year, about 900 women will be told they have the disease.
The Manitoba Breast Screening Program (MBSP) provides free mammograms for women 50 years of age and over with the goal to find breast cancer early when there is a better chance for a cure.
The MBSP mobile mammogram unit will be in Rossburn May 31 to June 10, 2011.
Women 50 years of age and over are invited to call and make their appointment at 1-800-903-9290.
