The jack weighed 27lbs and was 48 inches long. It was caught on the north side of the Rossman Lake. It took him about 8 mins to reel it in.

The Town of Rossburn, Manitoba, Canada, has been given 1200 glass photographic negatives that had been stored in the walls of a studio in a nearby town. The slides show a snapshot of Rossburn during the early 1900's. Some pictures are of the developing town and many are of the early settlers to the area. We have many more than we are able to show here, most with family names. Please contact the Rossburn History Book Committee for more information or copies of any of the pictures. Check it out!
